dear insanejournal,
the shift key does not represent intelligence. you can capitalize all you want and still be a dumbfuck who is more pretentious and egotistical than kanye west. and please refrain from telling me that when i type lowercase, it means i look or am uneducated. it's ironic and comical that you're telling me i'm a failure at the english language when i have a bachelor's degree in the subject that tells me otherwise. i concur that there are times when capitalization is important, (i.e. scenes, and updates unless the character is really inclined to type in lowercase), but when it involves aim conversations or comments to random entries, i feel it is not always necessary To be typing so formally. It isn't always a requirement in my eyes - depending on the character, and also depending on how they would type. grow up and get the mla format textbooks out of your collective asses, and remember that we're here to play, not be absolute douchefucks to everyone. and no, the fact that we are here to play does not mean you can totally molest grammar and punctuation, OR ATTEMPT TYPING LIKE THIS TO PROVE A POINT WHEN REALLY, IT'S NOT. there are differences that are clearly obvious and if they are not, then there is no point in conversing. this is why we can't have nice things.
and while you're at it, insanejournal, also please refrain from making played-by games that die before first adds, or die right after. stop frolicking to the newest shiny object and put in effort where you're at. you collectively have the attention span of a goldfish. nemo touched the butt? he might've, but i bet you missed it.
